My name is Victor Losolla, and I bring over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. My journey began humbly in the late 1990s as a laborer, but I quickly advanced into more technical roles. I started working in the testing laboratory of a major construction materials supplier, where I developed a strong foundation in material science and quality control. From there, I transitioned to private engineering firms, serving as a quality control and quality assurance technician both in the lab and on active roadway construction projects. My dedication to precision and excellence eventually led me to become the Senior Laboratory Technician, where I spent years perfecting my craft.

Today, I am a Senior Project Coordinator at one of the world’s largest engineering firms, where I assist engineers in managing complex infrastructure projects. My career has also included a unique opportunity to work at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a nuclear arms inspector for Advanced Weapons and Development. This experience deepened my technical knowledge, particularly in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, further refining my analytical and problem-solving skills.

Beyond my professional career, in my personal life I am passionate about creativity and innovation. Art has always been a significant part of my life—I paint, draw, sculpt, and create scale models as a hobby. And have received much recognition with countless awards for my talent during my junior, high school, and graphic design courses. I believe my creative artistic mindset played a key role in developing my patented invention, which streamlines the final acceptance inspection process in highway construction. My goal is to bring this innovation to market, helping the industry reduce costs and improve efficiency. This tool has been experimented with and tested in the field on an actual Federally funded NMDOT project and was without a doubt a game changer for both the contractor and the agency governing the project.

Above all, my greatest passion is my family, who inspire and support me every step of the way.
